Bath towels and a conditioner/shampoo/soap dispenser. Please help our environment by avoiding the use of unnecessary towels - only use what you need!

Kitchen

Coffee, assorted tea, regular sugar, salt and basic condiments

Analog entertainment

A selection of reading materials we or other guests thought you might enjoy reading. Please leave them in the apartment when you depart.

Board games are available. You can find them in the closet. Please do not loose any of the essential parts.

Water

The tap water in Aruba is pure and delicious. Tap water is safe to drink and is even better than bottled water. You do not have to buy bottles of water. Save our environment, drink tap water. There are extra bottles that can be refilled.

There is warm/hot water in the shower.

Fridge/freezer

You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it's not cooling effectively), please let us know.

Television

It is not connected to the local cable provider. We have one remote. Its a "smart" TV. You can cast through the chromecast or use the available smart TV apps.

Cockroaches and other pests.

Please refrain from leaving food or any sweet or edible items in any area to prevent attracting insects.

Grill

Feel free to use it to prepare your delicious grilled meals. We appreciate it if you clean the grill and utensils after use.

Swimming pool

The gardener will clean the pool daily and water the plants regularly. Please do not use sunscreen in the pool.

Lounge set

Please remember to cover the lounge set whenever you leave and every night with the provided rain cover, to protect it from occasional unpredictable rain showers.

Beach visits

We provide a beach cart, equipped with beach chairs and coolers, for your convenience on the way to the beach. Snorkels are also available for your use. Please remember to return all equipment after use.

Quiet Times

As we all value tranquility, we kindly ask you to join us in maintaining a peaceful environment for everyone. Please keep the volume of radios and TVs moderate, ensure your conversations remain private, and be considerate of others while moving around the property. The house is designated for adults only, so we ask that you respect other guests and neighbors, including those in the apartment behind the house, please respect each other by avoiding loud music or other noises. Please refrain from using the pool after 9 PM. Thank you for your cooperation.

Shoes

Please remove your shoes upon entering to help keep the sand outside. Thank you!

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the house. You may smoke outside, but please do not throw cigarette butts in the yard. Thank you for your understanding.

Pets

The house has a strict no pet policy

Garbage Collection

All garbage must be placed in a plastic bag and securely tied shut before disposal.

You can dispose of garbage bags in the bin located outside, to your right-hand side after entering the street. The bins are emptied every Wednesday evening.

Toilet

Please only flush human waste. Do not flush feminine products, wipes, tissues, or birth control materials.

We are using the water (including pie) for the plants and they are growing well on it.

Let us know

Please let us know right away about any problems you have during your stay. We do our best to keep on top of everything, but sometimes things pop up. With input from our guests, we can keep everything running in tip top shape. If it can be fixed right away it will, if it can’t, we will do everything in our power to get it fixed as quickly possible.

If something isn't working for you, please let us know right away as well. It's the worst feeling for us to find out at the end of your stay that you had an issue that we could have helped with, but we're unaware of.

Breakages

We understand that accidents can happen! If you happen to break anything, please inform us immediately. For minor damages, we typically won't charge you. However, for larger issues (e.g., the TV screen), we would like to discuss replacement costs with you before your departure to avoid any misunderstandings later. Thank you!

When you leave, please ensure the following simple tasks are done:

• take the rubbish out to the bins, make sure all is thrown in a plastic bag which is tighten firmly
• turn off all lights
• turn off the aircondionar
• put all used linens on the bathroom floor
• please put the raincover over the ouside couch
• please store the outside cushions in the bag under the wooden bench
• turn on the dishwasher if needed
• hand off the key to the "House Minders"
• feel free to write your experience in the guestbook
• make sure to just close the door behind you (the maid will arrive soon)
